DESCRIPTION:A Beautiful Mess is proud to be the hospitality partner of the international State of Fashion Biennale 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Available to Promise” is a term used in the fashion industry to indicate product availability — but what promises does fashion actually make\, and to whom? This question lies at the heart of this year’s biennale. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom 14 May until 28 June 2026\, State of Fashion takes over the city of Arnhem with exhibitions\, talks\, conversations and presentations exploring the hidden systems behind the fashion industry. Under the title “Available to Promise; Hidden Systems\, Shared Futures”\, this edition focuses on logistics\, technology\, cultural networks\, sustainability\, innovation and fair practices within fashion. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVisitors can book a guided tour of the exhibition at the Eusebius Church (Wednesday through Sunday) and combine their visit with a special State of Fashion x A Beautiful Mess hospitality arrangement. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe biennale takes place across several locations in Arnhem\, including the Eusebius Church\, Rozet and other partner venues. DESCRIPTION:Connection Café – Fourth Edition: Home & Belonging \n\n\n\nOn May 31st\, we will host the fourth edition of Connection Café\, in collaboration with Rozet and Refugee Company\, with support from Connect Arnhem\, at A Beautiful Mess Rozet. \n\n\n\nIn this edition\, we explore the themes of home and belonging. When do you feel part of a new society\, and what does “home” truly mean to us? Through shared experiences\, we aim to create a collective sense of connection and belonging. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe evening will begin with a panel discussion and Q&A\, featuring three individuals from different backgrounds who will share their personal perspectives on the theme. Afterwards\, Basak will tell a personal and moving story about home. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will then come together for a community dinner\, prepared by members of the AZC community\, following a special ritual with Chef Aymen\, where food and hospitality are shared in a meaningful way. \n\n\n\nThe evening will close with live music and Flow – a guided movement session inspired by ecstatic dance\, designed to deepen connection and togetherness. \n\n\n\nConnection Café is an international event series that offers an inclusive and safe space for residents from diverse backgrounds in Arnhem.
