Welcome at A Beautiful Mess Utrecht. Our location in Utrecht can be found in the asylum seekers center Oog in Al, in the west of Utrecht. Here, residents of the asylum center work in the kitchen or as servers, together with people who have prior experience in the Dutch restaurant industry. Together, an environment is created where both locals and residents of the asylum seeker center come to have dinner, meet or visit events.
Our staff
Our chefs prepare dishes from the Middle-East and Africa with love and craftmanship. The scents of our foods from Libya, Syria and Eritrea greet you as soon as you set foot in the restaurant. Our chefs would love to tell you more about the dishes.

Community dinner on Fridays from 5 PM to 9.30 PM.
Join us for dinner for €28,00 euro pp, kids for €6,50. Your dinner includes a seat at a table for a resident living in the shelter of Oog in Al.
We serve a three course surprise dinner.
