LGBTQ+ inclusive
At A Beautiful Mess, we pride ourselves on serving delicious meals while supporting people from refugee backgrounds. Within this group of people from refugee backgrounds is also a section of LGBTQ+ people.
During Amsterdam Pride (July 27 to August 4, 2024), we offer groups a variety of activities and exquisite culinary experiences, all tailored to your needs. Check out the details of our options below and stop by to make your PRIDE celebration memorable and meaningful!

Share A Beautiful Brunch – €19.50 per person
Shakshuka, a homemade dip like labneh, hummus or moutabal with freshly baked flatbread from the saj. Includes a non-alcoholic cocktail.
Share A Beautiful Lunch – €19.50 per person
A homemade dip like labneh, hummus or moutabal with fresh flatbread from the saj, delicious soup, one meat or vegetarian dish and homemade falafel. Includes a non-alcoholic cocktail.
Share A Beautiful Dinner – €34.50 per person
Three homemade dips like labneh, hummus or moutabal with freshly baked flatbread from the saj, delicious soup, two colorful vegetarian dishes, two side dishes, and two different meat or fish dishes. Includes a non-alcoholic cocktail.
Canal parade dance rehearsal hub
For your Canal Parade group, our event space transforms into the perfect practice venue. With high-quality sound systems and privacy options, you can perfect your performances while enjoying our delicious homemade lemonade, so you’ll be ready to shine during the Canal Parade.
€125 per hour. Includes one homemade lemonade per person.
Pride boat snack box
Get ready to shine during the Canal Parade with our PRIDE Boat Snack Box! Filled with delectable snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, our snack box is the perfect fuel for an entire day of boating, singing and dancing on the canals. We got your back!
€19.50 p.p. – Marinated olives, spiced nuts, wraps (Falafel and Healthy Bastard with labne, eggplant and tomato-sesame jam), and homemade lemonade.
PRIDE – team building
Celebrate PRIDE Amsterdam with your team and gain interesting insights into the inclusivity of LGBTQ+ communities in the Netherlands and abroad. At A Beautiful Mess, we offer activities to Choose, Mix and Match:
Cooking Workshop
Dive into our interactive bread and mezze workshop, where you can learn to prepare delicious dishes.
€65 p.p. for 2.5 hours. Max 20 guests/group, incl. 1 drink p.p.
Audio tour
Follow an audio tour featuring the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community in asylum-seeking centers. Food is on the house.
€15 p.p. for 15 minutes. Max 25 guests per group, incl. 1 drink p.p.
