Welcome to A Beautiful Mess – Willinklaan!
Our Community Café in Amsterdam Nieuw West at asylum seekers’ center Willinklaan is a warm and inviting place, where residents of the asylum seekers’ center and local residents come together. Whether you come for a nice chat over a cup of coffee, want to participate in fun activities, read a book, or participate in one of our free workshops: there is something for everyone.

Our Community Café is a safe and inclusive place, where different people and organizations work together to build a community that everyone can be a part of.

Our Community Café is a safe and inclusive place, where different people and organizations work together to build a community that everyone can be a part of.

With our Community Café we offer, among other things:

A welcoming space with free coffee & tea
Language courses: Dutch (Alternative Methods) and English conversation
Workshops on living and working in the Netherlands (in Dutch, English, Arabic or Tigrinya)
Barista training
Sports classes
A selection of books

Monthly community dinner

Every month we organize Community Dinners. A culinary gathering with games, where residents prepare dishes from different cultures. Registration is required via email: guillermo@abeautifulmess.nl.
