Connection Café – Fourth Edition: Home & Belonging

On May 31st, we will host the fourth edition of Connection Café, in collaboration with Rozet and Refugee Company, with support from Connect Arnhem, at A Beautiful Mess Rozet.

In this edition, we explore the themes of home and belonging. When do you feel part of a new society, and what does “home” truly mean to us? Through shared experiences, we aim to create a collective sense of connection and belonging.

The evening will begin with a panel discussion and Q&A, featuring three individuals from different backgrounds who will share their personal perspectives on the theme. Afterwards, Basak will tell a personal and moving story about home.

We will then come together for a community dinner, prepared by members of the AZC community, following a special ritual with Chef Aymen, where food and hospitality are shared in a meaningful way.

The evening will close with live music and Flow – a guided movement session inspired by ecstatic dance, designed to deepen connection and togetherness.

Connection Café is an international event series that offers an inclusive and safe space for residents from diverse backgrounds in Arnhem. Through themed gatherings, we build shared understanding and contribute to a more inclusive society.
