MENU MAP

Refugee Company has been crossing out the word refugee for seven years, because ‘refugee’ is not an identity, but a temporary phase in someone’s life. We prefer to talk about ‘people who have fled to the Netherlands’, but most preferred, we like to call each other by name. Refugee Company offers paid jobs and volunteer work in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Arnhem. In this way, Beriha, Lubna, Mohammed and all the others can gain work experience and become economically independent. The food on the menu at A Beautiful Mess is based on dishes from our chefs’ home countries.

The mission is to work together for work, in partnership with municipalities, companies, sponsors and the social enterprises A Beautiful Mess and the Mouth Mask Factory, and to unlock as much talent as possible for the Dutch labour market. In a world of increasing inequality and conflict, the goal is to live in an inclusive society where everyone matters equally and is of value.
