A Beautiful Mess is a unique social enterprise that brings people with and without refugee backgrounds together in a breathtaking place where delicious food, cooking workshops and events come together.

A Beautiful mess is part of Refugee Company. Refugee Company helps people with a refugee background become economically independent and self-reliant through work. In addition, the organization inspires society to be open to refugees and contribute to their integration and well-being in the Netherlands.

What will you do?

  • Management of contracts, benefits and personnel administration, including collaboration with HR partners
  • Onboarding, coordinating training and guiding employees in their professional and personal growth
  • Report on HR statistics and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies.
  • Manage an external recruiter and advise on HR-related issues within the organization.
  • Create a safe and inclusive work environment and support with team challenges such as trauma and distrust.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM or equivalent.
  • Empathic, communicatively strong and able to build trust.
  • Proactive and organizationally strong, with the drive to set up projects independently.
  • You appreciate and understand the challenges and strengths of people from refugee backgrounds.
  • Affinity for social missions and working in a diverse environment.
