Who we are.
We are a social enterprise where people with and without refugee backgrounds work together to prepare and serve delicious dishes.
Our new location on the Oosterdokskade offers breathtaking views of the IJ River and houses a restaurant, a separate kitchen for cooking workshops and an event space.
What will you do?
- Direct and train employees, with a focus on feeling welcome and confident.
- Set an example in customer focus and adherence to the Guest Journey and house rules.
- Manage daily operations, including cleaning schedule and inventory management.
- Dealing with dissatisfied guests and proactively providing solutions.
- Optimize roster management and staff utilization, aligned with expected crowds.
Who are we looking for?
- Affinity with the social purpose of our organization.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with an empathetic approach.
- Hospitality at heart, excellent communication skills.
- Experience in hospitality management, including knowledge of POS and reservation systems.
