Who we are.

We are a social enterprise where people with and without refugee backgrounds work together to prepare and serve delicious dishes.

Our new location on the Oosterdokskade offers breathtaking views of the IJ River and houses a restaurant, a separate kitchen for cooking workshops and an event space.

What will you do?

Responsible for mise en place and preparing dishes according to recipe.
Guarantee the quality of dishes for taste, freshness, appearance and temperature.
Actively contribute to the development of recipes and menus in line with our philosophy.
Ensure compliance with HACCP rules and procedures within the kitchen.
Maintain effective and friendly communication with the ministry and contribute to smooth cooperation.

Who are we looking for?

Experience as an Independent Working Chef in a professional kitchen.
Affinity with the social purpose of a Beautiful Mess and a heart for diversity.
Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, HACCP rules and kitchen management.
Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
Flexibility, creativity and a positive attitude.
