Amsterdam
For a new beautiful location of A Beautiful Mess we are looking for colleagues for the kitchen and service (such as head chef, assistant business manager, independent cook, floor manager, employee service, etc.). Do you care about our mission and want to be part of this special team? Don’t be a stranger but send an open application. We would love to meet you!
A restaurant that touches lives
In the heart of Amsterdam, on the Oosterdokseiland, we are building a new large meeting place with a restaurant, a separate kitchen for cooking workshops and an event space. The opening of our new location was in April 2024.
The location is a triple-A venue with an insanely beautiful restaurant with a terrace and a view of the IJ River. We are right next to Nemo, the OBA (public library) and Hannekes boom, on the first floor of Booking.com’s new building. A downright dream location, with endless thanks to one of the world’s largest travel e-commerce companies. Booking.com wants to make it easier for everyone to experience the world, and that inclusive mission aligns perfectly with the goals of A Beautiful Mess.
It will be a lively place, a busy restaurant with larger events, conferences and lectures where we can start making even more of an impact with our learn-to-work programs.
Will you come work with us?
Are you comfortable with this and support our mission? Do you want to be part of this special team? Then we would like to get in touch with you. Don’t be a stranger but send an open application to hr@abeautifulmess.nl. We would love to meet you!
A Beautiful Mess
A Beautiful Mess was launched by Refugee Company. At our company and in our restaurants, people who once fled to the Netherlands gain practical experience. Our employees build a network, learn to speak Dutch and find peace to discover what they want to do in the future. Like becoming a cook or waiter, a job at another bar or restaurant, or going to school to get their (hospitality) diploma. If the restaurant business is not their thing, it’s okay too: there is more to life than food and drink.
